From your phone to clean audio

On iPhone, open Voice Memos, tap the recording, tap ••• and choose Save to Files. Then tap Choose a file on this page and pick it. The file is an M4A, which works as it is; most Android recorders save M4A or MP3, which work too.

Phone microphones pick up everything around them: traffic, the café, the room itself. BackMute removes the steady part of that noise and reduces echo, so the voice is easier to understand.
